Roti hotpot

How do you keep rotis fresh? I have a hot pot but it’s broken and it dosent seem to keep them soft. :frowning: any tips?

Re: Roti hotpot

Only hot pot. If its broken, I would buy another… but only hot pot

Re: Roti hotpot

usepapertwel to absorb moisture and then pack them in aluminum foil then put them in hotpot…if your hotpot is broken, buy a new one from any desi grocery store.

Indian made CELLO hotpot is the best of the lot. it shouldn’t cost you more that $15…it’s price in India is Rs 500

Re: Roti hotpot

Whn roti hs cooked, leave for 1 min and thn wrap in rumaal and put it in shopping bag. Due ths ur roti would be fresh .
It is desg tip that v r using frm begining. Roti or naan wrap them in rumaal and thn put it in bag tightly pack it.

Re: Roti hotpot

Previously I used hotpot but felt the rotis would get wet. Now I bought a wooden bowl without a top. I place the rotis wrapped in dishcloth/towel in it.

Roti hotpot

Hotpot with towel paper paper is best. I agree with the comments above any Indian store will have good hotspots. Although Saudi Arabia has some beautiful hotspots. If you have any family or friends ask them. When u go for hajj or umrah the stores are very overpriced.

Re: Roti hotpot

Try alumunium foil.
