For me the most important thing to remember is that Ramadhan is starting...
Who cares about them... If I'll see a jew (who I do not see in the place I am now), I will just congratulate him as a formality and move on.

You may not celebrate it (ofcourse) or even acknowledge it, but its good to be knowledgable about whats going around you in the world. Unless, ofcourse, you live, or prefer to live, in a cocoon.

Faisal bhai, you raised a very good point. Yesterday at the medical college, there was a convention for Americans to get to know the "immigrant culture". I think we should also have something like that, which will end some hostilities that we have among different communities.

Keeping in view UK's culturally diverse society, primary and secondary schools are equipped with Religious and Moral Education curriculum inwhich major world religions are included i.e. Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism etc. Celebrations, festivals, ceremonies and customs related to those religions are discussed in the classes. Its always good to know about other religions and cultures.

Man, I don't get it; we, as muslims, have fought these jews for centuries; they have killed our brothers in lebanon and palestine; they are kuffars of the extreme kind and yet we still wish them on their occasions. It boggles the mind. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should go around doing hate crimes or killing them but the least we could do is ignore them.

Couldn't disagree with you anymore. Muslims and Jews have had a very good relationship in the past that you obviously aren't aware of. Ignorance is the sole reason why you're making such comments in the first place. I bet you haven't acquanited a single Jewish person in your entire life and are basing your opinion on them through what others have told you. Ignorance isn't the smallest mistake you could make. It would be the biggest mistake.
