Re: Rose Water
Actually, rose water is only mildly astringent. It's quite good as a toner for drier skins as it's quite hydrating.
For oily skin, witch hazel water is the ideal toner. Tea tree water is suitable for skin with active acne as it's anti bacterial - this is not produced by just adding tea tree oil to water (they don't mix!) - Lush do a tea tree water toner.
If you have oily skin and wish to use an oil to moisturise, the combo to use is witch hazel + oil of choice.
As many of you know, I use witch hazel and rosehip oil. I have oily and acne prone skin (thankfully the days of active acne are over). How you use the oil and the quality of the products really makes a difference.
Re: Rose Water
Can rose water be used for moisturising the skin ? Only rose water...no additives.
Just to warn you test it on a small area of your body or face first. I have dry sensitive skin and got a rash from using it so be careful when using it.

I'll get the witch hazel soon then.
