Rose Water desserts

I see this in Persian food a lot - but I dont have any recipes on my hands.

I know a diabetic, and it irritates him so much that he can’t have sweet stuff.

But I’ve come to know that rosewater is used in a lot of eastern desserts, and it has no sugar in it.

Jalaab is one, although the dates would add sugar to the drink.

Do you guys know of any desserts using rosewater as a sweetner that dont have any sugar in it?

Re: Rose Water desserts

we use rose water in almost all of our dessert., also orange blossom. from baklawa to mamoul

Re: Rose Water desserts

Majestic, can you write down some recipes? I've never been able to taste rose water in baklava.

Re: Rose Water desserts

^ maybe b/c its in the hot syrup that you pour onto the baklava. most of the syrups have rose water or orange blossom water in them.

Recipes please? Your own, not from a website.
