Rose and Jasmine Flower Shops

While reading all these sweet shops and naan, nihaari threads, reminded me of lines of flower shops side by side…

Now that I remember, there used to be 5-6 in a row competing each other and selling Gulaab kay haar, gajray mixed with gulaab and motiya/moNgra etc.

Roza kushaai, birthdays, coming back of umra/hajj, graduation and above all marriages… were so dry without them …

It used to smell so good whenever you passed through those streets near those shops.

You might have not seen it but in 90s .. few good tuition centre such as masterjee collegiate were established on the same row ….

but that was olden gold days… now they are seen on mobile phone shops buying sims

garlands are really nice. before flowers wither, they look nice on stems, with life in them & fragrance that takes over a lot of area, but as a gift, they must bring a great sense of care.
