I went to Roop Singhar in Liberty Market Lahore yesterday. I was looking to buy Hollywood USA (Brand) whitening lotion as a I have some dark patches on my knees and elbows and was looking for a lightening solution to even out the skin tone.
An attendant at the shop ended up persuading me to buy a small (it does look very tiny in comparison to the tube of lotion I was about to purchase) jar of ‘Nikhar’ (Herbal Fairness and Whitening Cream) (NOT Bio Nikhar!). He said it was one of thei rtop selling products and was used internationally and even recommended by doctors!
Needless to say - I got suckered in!!
I came home and tried to find some reviews on it or some mention on Forums but nothing turned up. I found some hits about BIO Nikhar but not this product. It comes with a one week money back guarantee.
Now I’m on here asking all you good people - Has any one ever used it? What were the results? Would you recommend it?

I have done purchases from roop singhar for my site for quite a while.
Their salesmen are pretty rude, especially the billing counter guy who i suppose is the owner.
Hollywood USA is widely available in all stores, HKB, Pot pouri, al-fatah and in hyperstar.
I will suggest you to go change it, cause roop singhar makes lots of there own products and product replicas
they have their own small home based kind of lab thing, so better be on the safe side.
However, a friend have tried some oil capsules which they claimed they made in their own lab and she said the oil is really good.

I'm thinking the same too... the product is made by a company under the name of Unique Herbal & Cosmetic Traders and it cost 450 PKR for a really tiny jar (vs. 235 PKR for the Hollywood brand items) . There is absolutely NO mention of them anywhere online which is quite disturbing.
On the other hand, I asked someone about the whitening cream and they did say it was effective. I guess I'm freaked about lack of information and feedback on the shop and products... and their ridiculous prices!
And you are right, it does seem that the staff at RS is extremely rude and stuck up about god knows what. It used to be a tiny shop which has now grown I agree but they are employed at the shop, don't own it so their poor attitude does come across very appalling (not that being the owner would justify it.. but still - you get what I mean.)
