so with Ramadan right around the corner, I did some ramadan shopping this weekend. I bought myself some ROOH AFZA. How can you go wrong?

Well, its my first time buying it for the dorm. My main concern was the ant attack the bottle woud experience after being opened.
My mother gave me a bowl and said - “betaaaaaa, fill the bowl halfway with water and place the bottle inside the bowl”
I was like haiN?
WELL!!!
Apparently, the bowl and water act as a moat - a defense mechanism against any bold ant. Ants can’t swim. So even the bravest will die.
So, I said, the ants will still come over and scout out the attack zone. So we’ll still have ants in the dorm.
NAY!
Apparently, a few ants might come over, and communicate with their clans of the DANGEROUS MOAT. Thus, one will not see any line of ants anywhere in the room.
I figured, what the hey. I’ll try the idea out. See if I can reconfirm the results of previous centuries.
The moat mechanism is simple yet ingenious. Let this Ramadhan be a clear warning to all the ants who have intentions of going near any thing which is sweet and sugary.

Thats an interesting way to keep the ants away. Sadists might want to dissolve some sugar in the water so give them a sweet death. Or hey why not even put some rooh afza in the bowl.

I got news for you the not knowing it all... ants can survive 48 hours under water. So, swimming over a few inches in the bowl to their destination Rooh Afza may not be a big deal. As a matter of fact, they will be so pissed at your 'moat mechanism' they might finish up the heavenly drink in less than an hour.
this won't require any rocket science from the ants. If they can work together (what they can do supremely) they'd make a catapult mechanism. Lay it on the side of the bowl and then slingshot themselves onto the bottle. From there is shudn't be too hard.
Coming back is a different story...they shud let themselves slide off the slope and probably they'll end up above the waterlevel on the inside of the bowl. they shud escape from there

No they had to change it for North America and europe becuz the pakistani ones had all kinds of fruits and vegetables in the picture and rooh afza didnt contain any one of them, so it fell under false advertising.
I will be more concerned about your roomate finishing it off then the ants jkn. Nice way to keep them away but these ants can simply climb on the ceiling and then align themselves to jump off in the bottle :yukh:
