Re: Rooh Afza and shikanjbeen
Try this
Mix 1 cup water with half cup sugar and a pinch of salt, boil until it simmers and the sugar is all dissolved, then turn off and let this syrup cool completely.
Add quarter cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Now add equal amounts of this prepared lemon syrup and 7 up (if you like) otherwise water

I am gonna try that recipe!! Hubby has been asking for this too
Re: Rooh Afza and shikanjbeen
^ I never tried it with rooh afza so if you are trying this with roohafza then make the quantity of sugar less than the quantity i mentioned in the recipe otherwise it will become "sugary"
Re: Rooh Afza and shikanjbeen
Shikanjabeen (not KKF's version but the modern one) has salt, crushed black pepper in it too, along with sugar. Limo paani is just limo pani (and sugar)
Re: Rooh Afza and shikanjbeen
Shikanjabeen’s main ingredient is mint, along with the stuffs TLK mentioned above.
