of course women want the physical intimacy, sex is just as important to women if not more important but if i’m in a situation where i have this amazing connection and caring with someone and there’s this total ease in conversation and EVERYTHING then why wouldn’t i pick that over some stale flowers plus if we see each other as friends and love each other as such i just feel like it can be made more, that’s why seduction was invented
the OP’s scenario is so black and white, you always have those grey areas in real life
and that thread a perfect example, it’s the one that came to mind for me too, i would lose interest very quickly in the sex if the guy i’m with fights/argues and disagrees with everything and there’s no real foundation to the relationship.
You need a bit of both, I think you know that. These things can't be measred in absolutes. You'll usually have more of one type than the other, so communication is the key to strike the right balance, or something like that yeah whatever

but i know people that were together, did that whole flowers candy stuff, but had nothing in common or compatibility other than being brown, they were initially "in love", but they constantly argued, whatever "love" they had disappeared so what was left.....nothing! they're separated now

I dont even really get what the difference btw love and friendship is (maybe OP can ellaborate)..how can one NOT love their friend? and how can you LOVE someone without being a friend..For example, if I marry my friend, it's because I love him. That's why I said I would rather marry a friend and know that i love this person already..
