I dun think it’s wrong to ask such questions JUST because it is one’s homework…
Islam is to be learnt however way possible… it’s part of learning one’s religion… This can be termed as part of her research process… someone once asked Imam Ghazali :rehm: about his knowledge of Islam and he replied that he never felt ashamed of asking what he did not know…
Quoting ahaadeeth and Quran in such matter is a must and calling it plagiarism is nothing but ignorance from the part of General’s moderator…
