A lot of Muslims have a conception that its ok to reprimand people for actions cos the sharah commands it but people need to understand that that is the role of the state…
If someone say your sister fornicates it isnt acceptable for you yourself to reprimand them…its the role of the Islamic state to dish out punishments not you yourself…
Same with things like the guy that got murdered for directing that anti-Islam film in Holland or the cartoon fiasco…fatwas can only be handed out by an Islamic state so if sharah says a rule about blasphemy…its not acceptable to take actions yourself…that again is the states job…
Now before people talk about Jihad…thats a different thing entirely…cos Allah states that you must defend Muslim land…however taking over land…or offensive Jiahd can only be done with an Islamic state…
In todays day and age we’re fine on doing our own personal actions but in terms of legislation i wish people would stop being judge jury and executioner and understand that just cos Islam says it doesnt mean you do it…
And btw there is no state that implements Islam or protects Muslims…
