Rohtas Fort (Jhelum - Dina)

I had a great trip to Rohtas Fort almost exactly 2 years back (on 2nd April 2008). Me, my two cousins & my uncle rented a car from Lahore and went to Rohtas Fort which is situated in Jhelum (a small town of Dina to be exact). The weather was awesome on that day and we enjoyed a lot. The history of Rohtas Fort is also very interesting. It was built by Sher Shah Suri.

After visiting the fort, we had a lunch from a dhaba on GT Road, it was afghani pulao and was very good  Then we went to the town of Sohawa and also visited the tomb of Shahab ud din Ghouri (Pakistan’s Ghouri Missile in on his name). By night we were back to Lahore..

Here is the picture compilation of my trip..

Reason for this song in background: There was only one cassette in the car and we had to listen it again n again :stuck_out_tongue: This was the only song in it which was good and also kind of get along with the theme of this video..

Thank you Redi for your comments :)

Yes definitely it is a great place and its raasta is awesome too. I remember we enjoyed the scenery of a river (or a barsaati naala) just before the fort, it was awesome :)
