I don’t know if there’s already been a thread opened on this (there probably has) because Rock Band is by far the best freaking video game I’ve ever played asfoafjlkjdkagjhsakhdajtkhakjaklsdj!!!
First I heard a lot about it from all the kids at school and I’m like WHAT is so great about playing on a toy guitar and a set of toy drums and singing in a toy microphone?! So I went over to a pals house one day who had it and I started playing and did not want to stop! It is SOOO MUCH FUN! Especially the guitar part. The drums are hard (I think). It’s amusing hearing people singing. It’s so much fun!
The other day we had to go to this Aunty’s house and I was stuck watching B4U indian films while her and my mom chattered on and on… and then my little brother came downstairs and told me that her son has Rock Band and they were playing upstairs. So I went upstairs and starting jamming. Rock Band rescued me. =)
I’ve been nagging my mom to get it for us but she said we need to sell our old Xbox and controllers and games if we want to get PS3 or whatever and Rock Band.
Anyways, yea. Play it. It’s fun. You’re never too old.
Hitting the notes for the guitar is easier on Guitar Hero than it is on Rock Band. I like Rock band better. It's more fun when you're playing with mroe people. And I especially like the part when people have to sing HAHAH it cracks me up. Watching my brother-in-law sing "In Bloom" by Nirvana was just priceless :D
I didnt play rock band yet, but ive heard the medium on rock band is like the easy for GH.
I still like GH though, they came up with the whole concept and its got a real underground rock vibe to it, the sets, the graffiti, the jokes, everything… Rockband is more of a family game though.
I also love the The Gibson Les Paul guitar wireless controller that came with the PS3!! Rock the 80s by far was my favourite in terms of the set list. Cant wait to get Guitar Hero: Aerosmith!
i bought the special edition pack today, with the mic, guitar and the drumset, and went straight on and unlocked all the songs… i had fun playing KiSS and deep purple, oh and garbage (though my voice isnt girly at all )
