Robbers kill teenage girl

Such incidences have become norm in Karachi. Unfortunately not a single murderer has ever been caught. Can mqm play a positive role in stopping this nuisance? Or it is a part of the problem. Innocent victims and their families are suffering a lot on this curse on people of Karachi since years.

KARACHI, April 29: A teenage girl was shot dead in front of her mother when they resisted a robbery attempt in PECHS Block 6 on Thursday night, police said.

Fifteen-year-old Zara and her mother, Yasmeen, were waiting for her sister, Sonia, in a car outside an apartment building when armed men riding a motorcycle approached them, the police said.

The girl and her mother resisted when the robbers demanded cash, valuables and the key of their car at gunpoint. The robbers became panicky, shot dead Zara and sped away without taking any valuables, said ASP Chaudhry Asad, the SPO of Ferozeabad area.

The body was later shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

While it is a shame that she had to die, petty crime exists when economic opportunities for jobs and the like are not available. Want to solve criminal activities provide people with jobs along with cracking down on such people.

MQM are not the only criminals in Karachi, but they are the biggest and are involved in most of the crimes, from street robberies, bhatta to killings.

Without the MQM, there would be much less crime in Karachi.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

As always you Jahils play politics with real life and real people. The PPP is incharge of the entire country. By your logic the PPP is to blame for every person that has died in a suicide bombing incident.

MQM has been in charge of Karachi for the last 20 years, including now.

Everyone knows the role MQM plays in Karachi crime.

If you don't know what you are talking about, keep your mouth shut.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

Yeah blame MQM for everything in Karachi/.
Blame the Army for everything wrong with the government.
Blame the Taliban for killing Benazir and why after 2 years the PPP has done nothing to find out who did it.

Blame everybody except for the ones that should be blamed.

Stop making stupid statements - although I know you can't help it.

The original post asked about MQM's role in crime in Karachi, to which I replied facts which everybody in Karachi knows.

If this gets your underwear in a twist, that is your problem.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

its no either mqm or ppp WHOLE country with all politic/Judicial/armed forices/police/most of ulmas are corrupt.

Previous days I visited pakistan and I stopped by my sisters who arrived in Karachi couple of days before me, to not go to the graveyard where my mother`s grave is for
Dua and Fateha, and they told me the story what happened yesterday when they
went to that graveyard for dua......

They take one of cousion with his car to pay visit mom`s grave, the new graveyard is
little away from populated area, when they finished Dua and car was on way for the
main road they stopped by two youngmen who was on motercyle, they stop them and
point out two guns on them and asked for give them whatever they have...
They all were stunned and in a schok they never seen gun in there entire life TWO GUNS
at a time, one of my sister give them some cash about some thousands..... they saw
golden bangle in hand of my other sister and asked to pull out those and give them
she was so in schoked and afraid try in a hurry to pull out bangles and ear rings which result injuries in hand and ears. they took vallet of my cousion and mobile and also beat him by gun HURRY UP HURRY UP.. the kids of my sisters with them too, They took money and gold bangles/earring and run away....

They saw a police vehicle which was parked on main road but they didnt report anything.
Later we heard these kind of robbering sometime happening on that graveyard...

so sad for that young girl who died / there is no rule in Pakistan ...

@ CM almost every body have job there or a way to earn money to live

but

what I feel almost peoples like to earn the money in EASY WAYS

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

who is doing it and how to stop these crimes, is a big issue but also people should know and keep in mind that guns always win in the battle of guns and arms.

People should use brain on such moments and should not resist unless they think they have enough fire-power or support to overcome or to at-least match the culprits. A life was terminated just for the sake of "trying" to save what ? 5lakh? 10lakh? --

Now if you think you have a enough support, I am all for going after these and make them nishan-e-ibrat right on the spot. Dont expect lousy police to save you or your belongings

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

Realdeal you will always blame others for what the PPP does wrong. If the MQM is to blame for the crimes in Karachi. The PPP is to blame for the lack of protection against suicide bombings.

By your logic both are incharge of security and failing to do their job.

Eye our unemployment rate is staggering. It is 15% with a large portion that are underemployed.

Yeah I know
If someone knows that how to EARN in EASY WAYS

hell they dont need a job to work 8/10 hours for few thousands
anyhow everybody EARNING well there

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

How can one political party be blamed for pervasive lack of any judicial system in the country? Police and legal reforms are only way and politicians, police, lawyers and courts do not want that to happen. Only public pressure can induce some betterment, but for that we need to get out of ethnic and religious dogmas first.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

Inna LILLAHI wa INNA ILAHI RAJAYOON,

I wouldnt say that its only MQM involved in all of the roberries and extortion. But infact many other activists from different parts of the country are involved. ppl from Punjab, pakhtonkhaw and Rural sindh are also involved in such activities. But yes a majority of them do belong to MQM. There is a full mafia involved in this business, witha fair share going to Police of the daily loot.

Agree with you 100% here.

As Real Deal said MQM is ruling urban Sindh for the last more than two decades, it has great responsibility to stop at least killings of innocent people. Think of a young teenage child, what her dreams were and now where she has landed. Imagine the agony of mother and sister who witnessed their near and dear one die in front of them.

I was born, raised and educated in Karachi. I have seen Karachi of Sixties and Seventies. Karachi at that time was still the biggest metropolitan city of Pakistan embracing all ethnicities living in peace and tranquility in neat and cleaned environment. The shape of Karachi started to change when mardood Zia-ul-Haq took over and started jehadi war in Afghanistan. All kinds of criminals poured from every corner of the country particularly during time of infiltration of Afghan Refugees. There after situation never improved and gone from bad to worst.

It is a daily routine in Karachi where innocent people are robbed of their belongings including cars, money, jewelry cell phones etc at gun point, if they resist, they got killed. People who commit these crimes are either college or school going must have police protection. This has absolutely nothing to do with un-employment. Karachi is still the biggest employer city in the country if some one really wants to work.

MQM being an organized party can make the difference if they want to stop. Instead of failed attempt to encroach kingdom of PML (N) in Punjab, they should focus on Karachi. I am sure if they are really honest to save this curse from Karachi, not only they will be really serving people but also winning in future elections too. If they don’t, then they are really part of the problem. Government should step in and take drastic measures to wipe out these criminals.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

PPP is ruling the country for the last two years and has the great responsibility of not being able to protect the people of Pakistan from suicide bombings.

Regardless of the fact that I wish the MQM would rot in hell, it is unfair to blame them for some random robbery/murder that happens on the street.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

inna lillahi wa inna ilahi raji'un

@EYE , not everyone is blessed with an education and a nice house with a car in Karachi. which planet are you living in? Defense?

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

Eye. Not everybody is earning well these days. Our economy is getting better but it is still crap. Even our own government accepts that.

It is not a random act. This is going on since years. I think you should see this curse beyond the prejudice eye on PPP, though PPP is also responsible in a way being a ruling party. But MQM is a real ruler of Karachi and you should accept this fact. If it wants to control these incidences it can. If not, then it is a major part of the problem, you should also accept this fact.

Re: Robbers kill teenage girl

Y u ppl blame MQM ...For all criminal activities...MQM is not responsible for these things....
ANP & PPP r responsible or they r in criminal activity....

I think.... Na jaanna bheitter hai ghalat jaannay k....
