Has anyone ever travelled by road from Islamabad to Kashmir before? How long is the journey and how safe are the roads?
I travelled from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad this past summer. It takes about 4 hours by road. Roads are a little broken in places from landsides etc, but pretty safe. We had no problems on our journey. Best to go during the day as roads aren't in best condition.
