Well. the prerequisites are very general computing background, understanding of basic programming, concepts of loops, cursors etc., software mindset, relational database management understanding.
Here I recommend a beautiful book “Database Management systems” by Raghu Ramakrishnan/Johannes Gehrke. Please try to read it before you go in. It’ll be very handy.
Regarding your earlier question about RAC etc, I think keep it aside as a second step. And for that only go to Oracle affiliated institutes who can provide hands-on RAC training which normal institutes cant provide due to its complex architecture.

hav u done OCP or anyother certificaitonn in oracle ?
