Part drama, part documentary, The Road to Guantánamo focuses on the Tipton Three, a trio of British Muslims who were held in Guantanamo Bay for two years until they were released without charge.

Re: Road to Guantanamo
i m glad some1 took the initiative 2 post abt such a wonderful docu-drama here...here's my view/thoughts after watching it i wl just copy and paste it from where i earlier posted it.
**How far will we go in the name of security?
**I just finished watching “The Road to Guantanamo” directed by Michael Wintrtbottom and Mat Whitecross, and I am shocked beyond believe. This docu-drama is basically about the three british citizens who were held for two year without charges in the American military prisons at Guantaname Bay, Cuba. Its part documentary and part dramatization.
I have realised that this world is not an easy place to live in but I didn’t know it could get this miserable. I have a terrible headache now and I couldn’t help control my tears watching the movie. I feel so small, helpless and useless. We know what’s happening around us in world but what have we done to change it in any way? Forget about making a change how much do we even think about it?
The whole world specifically the north and the west talks about human rights. What a joke that is…Human Rights…My foot! From Afghanistan to America I don’t think any country have human rights beyond the basic ones. It just annoys me to see the so called Muslims forcing other Muslims to fight in the name of Allah. First of all jihad can’t be pressurized so wth are they on? And than these Americans and british don’t leave any possibility of grilling the Muslims in the name of security. And they say they have humane conditions in those cells where the Afghanis are kept. They showed in the movie how the prisoners were not allowed 2 say their prayers and the guards were kicking the Quran and punishing them for saying their namaz.
I will suggest you all to watch this movie; Muslim or Non-Muslim; it will help open up your eyes about the world.
