Road romeos are probem creators ,surely.I have seen in many places ,they simply making lewd comments at ladies ,sometimes even when ladies are with their male partners,these hooligans making filthy cooments at ladies.In most of the cases ,I have observed,the male partners just avoid them in attempt to not making any troubles,or they just hide their anger and emotions and walk away with their partners.
Last year on 31 December of 2007,what had happened at Mumbai ,during the New year night was simply unexplaniable ,when a group of Non resident Indian ladies,fom U.S, came to Mumbai for the celebrations along with their husbands and boy friends,had to face a group of nonsense rants,when the bad guys started making absured comments at them.Having lived in western world or not having been exposed to such stupidity, one lady shot back at those guys(Who had already been intoxicated,in the context of the special night!!! )and the hooligans,nearly 30-40 guys molested the girls infront of their husbands and boy friends,with police standing as watchers and on-lookers remaining there callous. It shook the entire nation and there had been widespread talk shows on this incident.
A similar incident happened the same night at Cochin,the commercial capital of one of the most forefront runners in literacy in the entire subcontinental region,Kerala where a couple of forieign ladies were molested by a group of people,but thanks to a wonderful and strict vigilence by poilice and a timely intervention of local people,the miscreants were arrested then and there itself.(They got nice beatings from local people aswell 
I would like to ask you people,how would you people react in such situations ,like you are walking on a street along with your partner and some jobless nonsense people making some crap remarks?(Hope nothing like that happens!!!)
