He didn't marry his fiancée because his sister was engaged to the girl's brother and he was having an affair with someone in the city. Consequently, the engagement was called off and since it was watta satta Humayun Saeed's engagement was also annulled.

I've only seen bits and pieces of this drama. So seriously, why did he marry Maria Wasti's character? And in the most recent episode, Mona Lisa was at her mayoun or mehndi...is she getting married to a new person?
And for real, is that weird looking guy Adnan Jilani? I am shocked--I didn't recognize him. The first drama that I saw of his was Kaffara. And I just finished Moorat today. I love his acting--he does the creepiest roles.

I love this drama. Did anybody just watch it? Humayun’s character is such a jerk. He didn’t have time to ‘think’ when he married the naukrani, and he didn’t have time to ‘think’ when he divorced her.

I just watched today’s episode. Yeah so the idiot that he is, he gives her talaq and then wants to keep her at another house cuz she’s his “izzat”. The man’s got issues.
I like how Maria Wasti plays her character. She has the sindhi accent going, as well the village-ness in her.
EDIT: Does anyone know the song that was played when Humayun was dropping off Maria Wasti in today’s episode? It was a sad song with the word “anjuman” in it? --never mind found it

I only watched one episode when it was Maria's mehendi and girls were dancing by the boat. That was realllyyyy interesting episode, just loved it. I can't wait to rent the whole drama.

Ive been following this drama for a while but unfortunately i missed one and im completly lost! why does humayon give the maid divorce? wat hpnd? its so confusing! plz can someone tell me!

he divorced maria wasti cuz of his mom and sis. who didnt like maria cuz she is poor and isnt at the same level as them. but humayun regrets it but afterall it was a divorce and so maria wasti goes back to her village home. and now she figures that she is pregnant and doesnt want anyone to find out especially humayun cuz they might take the child away... this is what has happened so far in usa btw this drama comes on ary here not geo.

^ yeah she doesn't realize that the divorce can be taken back if the couple find out that the woman is pregnant. oh well - the drama is OK.
