Newcomer swims with dolphins for campaign!
Bollywood actress and model Riya Sen has just completed a photo spread for Cosmopolitan Magazine (India) in Australia, to promote Australian tourist destinations such as the Gold Coast in the Indian market. The shoot was an initiative of the Australian Tourist Commission (ATC), which formed an alliance with Cosmopolitan Magazine (India) for celebrity endorsement of Australia in an effort to boost tourism numbers from India. As part of her trip to the Gold Coast, Riya, granddaughter of legendary Bollywood actress Suchitra Sen and daughter of actress Moon Moon Sen, visited Australia’s Sea World and Warner Bros.
Movie World, part of the Warner Village Theme Park Group. Riya was thrilled to swim with a dolphin at Australia’s Sea World, an experience she said she would never forget. She then had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the caped crusaders Batman and Robin, and meet the loveable Looney Tunes characters including Tweety and Daffy Duck at Warner Bros. Movie World.
The photos of Riya in Australia will be published in Cosmopolitan’s (India) February 2004 edition. A sixteen-page Australia Booklet will also be circulated with the magazine in the December 2003 edition. *
