Veteran designer Ritu Kumar has designed bridal ensembles for the cast of Sahil Sangha’s new film Love Breakups Zindagi, an upcoming Hindi romantic film, starring Dia Mirza and Zayed Khan in leading roles.
The bridalwear in the film is from her brand ‘Ri’. The movie also features chic pieces from her western brand ‘Label’. All the clothes are unique and beautifully styled. Dia Mirza looks particularly resplendent in the outfits, along with other actors— Auritra Ghosh, Soni Razdaan and Nandini Sen.

Kumar, has dug into her much-acclaimed 'Falaknuma' collection to pull out designs for the ladies. The collection is inspired by the interiors of the famed palace of Hyderabad and highlights the heritage of craftsmanship that the royal city is known for. It consists of exquisitely embroidered lehengas, saris, coats, kurtas, shararas and skirts, many of which will be seen in the film.

“It’s quite a non-Bollywood look, though the mood is fun and the silhouettes are flowing,” says Kumar, adding, “The dresses also boast of fine, coloured thread work, along with contrasts in bandhini. There’s a play of Kutch embroideries and prints on the garments as well.”
