Please just watch this movie. Tom Cruise is the one of the most underrated actors ever. Really. Thank You.

The movie was surprisingly good. An oldie, but a classic. Oh, that scene where he's dancing around in his underwear IS overrated, although his movies are usually brilliant.

That was a nice movie. Unfortunately I don't remember much, but I heard they wanted to do a different ending, but when they tested it, a lot of people didnt like it because it was too depressing or something like that..

Rainman. Last Samurai. So on. And yes, he is a good actor. I really hate it when people label him as a pretty boy and tell me that he has got no talent. Watch some of his movies and then pass your judgement.

I would agree with Mystical Miss here, Ethan Hawke is one of the most underrated actors. Have you seen Training Day? He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in that one.
Tom Cruise may be overrated but he makes the most money in hollywood. Some day, one day he will win an Oscar. War Of the Worlds is releasing this summer and Mission Impossible III is in production, releasing next year.

Ethan Hawke is not a household name. People can actually sell movies on Cruise's name, but his acting ability has always been questioned, which I don't think is right. I see your point about Hawke though; he is a fine actor.

ethan hawke is a pretty good actor. more people know him through his ex-wife uma thurman than through his acting. gattaca was a good movie but kind of geeky we watched it during biology.

Tom Cruise is a 'good actor'. He expresses anger very well on screen and suits many leading man roles in big budget movies. But I find him very annoying. All this Scientology stuff he's so vocal about is kind of bizarre. What is that religion really about? Aliens, L Ron Hubbard, what do they have to do with it?

Hmmm...Tom Cruise underrated? Far from it! He's a great actor but not under rated. He would be under rated if i never saw him in entertainment news or anything but he seems to make his way into the media for one reason or another,
