"apki family main kioun nahi hua rishta" thats sooo wrong

I'm trying to persuade dj bhai jaan to join , but with replies like this, he's afraid.

How about a list of rishta questions you'd want to be asked, or would want to ask? You know, something along the lines of what kind of cheese do you think the moon is made out of and why?

The only questions I ever got were, "So you're going to Japan for a whole year?" and it sort of ended there. :-S

^ I can imagine that one being an issue. Stupid, really. But I can imagine it.

An aunty asked why we were not looking for a girl in the community we lived in, and could not grasp the concept that my parents live in the middle of nowhere, with very few pakistanis. Needless to say, she thought I was shady :D.

Yes Catty, people sometimes act all wierd when they come to know that i lived all by myself in another state for 4 years. The sad thing is that I feel it may make my parents feel that they made a bad decision when they let me go away like that :(

lol.You should live up to that assumption, and scare that aunty.

do you guys have people come to your house and just ask questions,,
or they just generally ask when visiting?
or they come with a rishta and start asking?
