listen, i was EXACTLY the same with my parents…specially with mom. Im the oldest daughter and being oldest daughter i never fulfilled my duty as i was suppose to. But then as i said being stay away from them and livin alone i realized how much i need to talk to my mom. I talk to her more openely than my best fren now. Yes in the beginning she was like eek wats wrong with my daughter but then with good ideas i explain her every thing. When i talk to my mom or dad i make sure that I can at least give them the reference of Islam in the light of Quran and hadith, it always help and i always can convince them this way
