Well the only reason I even posted this is because he was being adamant about the age requirement. He was turned off by the older girl due to age...sounded like to us he just wanted to have control. I mean he was told the 24 year old is intelligent, pretty, and has a good blend of values, everything was OK until age was revealed...anyways he wanted to check out the 19 year old first lets see what happens, and his parents are not involved he's looking out for himself.
If a guy is this picky with age (19 vs. 24), then I'd assume that he's attracted to young girls. I would not marry a guy who is this focused on age (ie. the # since he doesn't know the girls personally in this case). What will he do when years from now his wife is 35? or 40? or 50? If he's a successful man who's attracted to young girls (ie. 19 years old), will he find another 19 year old to marry or to be his mistress when his wife isn't so "young" anymore?
There's nothing wrong with being attracted to young girls. But when a man allows that type of superficial attraction to control how he chooses his WIFE, then I would question his ability to remain faithful to his wife once she passes a certain age.
There is nothing wrong liking younger women. My age criteria (21-23) because i am 27 myself. Heck i like younger women and not for so called controlling your partner though. I like them because i find them energetic, passionate and vibrant. And before i sound like i am generalizing which might be but this has been my experience so far with dating younger women of these age.
Therefore, is that rishta red flag? I don't think so. Every person has a right to choose and live with a person whomever they want. And of course as long as the woman is 19+ (legal age).
may be 19 year old is prettier than 24 year old one.
He hasn't seen either of them, anyways doesn't seem like he's going to be given a chance cause the 19 year old is turned off by his age. And btw the girls look the same, same on the pretty level.
