My dad told me today that he has got 14 rishta proposals mostly from Pakistan in this year for me. My dad and I thought its really funny, because people are sending rishta proposals, without even seeing my pic, or knowing anything about me! It`s seems that to someone EU-passport or family name means more than person with who u are marrying with : D I just think thats really weird, and I would never marry person, who has shown interest on me without knowing anything about me…because then I would think that is he really marrying me for who I am or is he marrying me for what I have..
My dad told me about those rishta proposals casually, like he talks about weather etc., but I felt embarrassed and awkward, how did u feel when ur dad or mom talked about rishta proposals? 
This was kind a pointless thread but yeah I was bored, and I wanted to share this weird thing for u guys
