^ true.anyhow the person who kind of connected us called them to ask, and they said they are doing dua's and will let us know in 1-2 days. I have been doing the same so InshAllah whatever happens will be for the best. Please do remember me in your prayers.
PS The guy's older brother is also recently divorced so that's why they might be wanting to take it slow...

It's passive only if they are not sure and or looking at other rishtas. If they really like the rishta they will be sure to get back to the other family.
I meant passive in the sense where you have to sit back and let things take their course. With non-arranged marriages you're in communication with the guy so you know what's going on. All bets are off with these cases.
Just do dua and hope for the best.

I think, guy's side is stupid. why are they making this whole process lengthy. If you two families met three times before your actual date then they have no reason to waste your time. They should call you 10th of this month and clear their position.
