If my husband liked roti I would learn to make it. He does a lot for me so it is not be a big deal. Marriage is about accommodating each other's Preferences. The problem here isn't roti ( sorry Sasha ;) ) it's your complete inability to treat another human being with compassion and respect.

Are awful. They value money and beauty, and that's what they use to sell to the opposing parties. Almost like little enticing imps.
I think part of why there are such horrible marriages around, and divorces, is because these women are instrumental in setting up marriages on the wrong foundation.
A friend's wife is in the matching business. Their job is only to let people who are looking know of other people who are looking when they see the potential for a match. Their job is not to lecture people on what they should or shouldn't want. They might tell you what type of matches people can expect based on their details. Their job is done when they introduce the potential parties. Once that's done, each party has to carry out its own due diligence/investigations etc. Unless they knowingly misrepresented someone, I don't see how they can be blamed for marriages falling apart.
