Last night I attended the ‘British Invastion’ at Masala!Mehndi! Masti! out here in Toronto. Did anyone else go?
Headlining this was none other than Rishi Rich and his boys Juggy D and Jay Sean. All I can say is these guys are very bad live performers.
Jay Sean sang ‘Eyes on You’ three times. Juggy D had an ashtma attack earlier in the day so other than the occasional Balle Balle…he didn’t say much. Rishi Rich himself didn’t say anything other than ‘W’sup Toronto!’
Most of the stuff had the vocals playing in the back while they added the hoi hoi’s to get the crowd excited.
Mind you, everyone go to their feet while they danced and 'hoi’ed to Craig David’s Rise and Fall remix, later to keep the crowd on their feet by performing ‘Hum Tum’ and Zeus’s Kangana. Plus Jay’s mc’ing UK style was probably the hottest part!!
Overall, I don’t think the Brits did their best but they didnt exactly have luck on their side, Juggy was sick and they were having technical difficulties 
Maybe next time the boys should try a club gig!
On the other hand, Lal opened up for them -she’s amazing! It was my third time seeing her peform and she has one kick ass voice! Go local talent Go!!!
