rings

:bummer:

Re: rings

I knew there would be at least one.
Thanks Aishaaa

Nobody will believe the number of times we have had to tell our friends that the size or price of the ring doesn't matter.
The whole two month's salary as a benchmark is BS and should remain BS.

Re: rings

Re: rings

Re: rings

another is

u can have diamonds in your hands and riches on ure land

but without love u do not have anything

(diamonds are forever  )

Re: rings

ironically the same person that sang “gold digger” sang “diamonds are forever” song as well.

Re: rings

Just because i want the good things in life dont make me a golddigger

Re: rings

how is a 2 carat diamond considered "good things in life"? there are many good things in life and a 2 carat diamond isnt one of em. (of course i would be extremely happy to get one)

there are men out there that are rich but still dont see the point in giving their wife a 2 carat diamond. they rather spend it on something more practical. has nothing to do with being cheap or poor.

Re: rings

ok thanks for the lecture..but...i couldnt care less.

Re: rings

walks on all fours, eats dog food, wags its tail, barks, sniffs my crotch, attack people who enter my garden without permission…now aishaaa, are telling me that the thing in my garden isn’t a dog?

how can u talk about the good things in life when u don’t know what they are? a diamond ring, 1 minute on ure finger, 2 seconds later, in a muggers pocket, u could lose ure finger or even ure life for those 2 carats.
U silly girl, the good things in life are things which can’t be so easily taken from u, family, good memories, holiday/experiences…things like that.

**GIRL, U A GOLD DIGGER!:dixsi: **

Re: rings

engagement ring is useful only if your wife obeys you- if she doesnt cook, wash clothes, look after kids, then its completely useless.. its an investment every man has to make to live happily :D

Re: rings

Ha! so i'm desi, in my mind "sets" were more important....My husband did make the diamond ring important,...but at the time he oculd not afford 1 caret...instead he focused on a really high quality/color/cut to the caret he could afford in that range.

To be honest, it's big enough i'm happy with it...not too small that i feel "it's tiny" but....you know eventually if we have the money...inshallah i'd be happy to go bigger :)

Re: rings

i have never met a girl who doesnt want a big diamond ring. and there is nothing wrong with getting one. thats the least a guy can do.

Re: rings

No, the least a guy can do is take care of his wife and treat her like a princess. There's nothing wrong in buying a ring, but that's far from showing her you're a great guy or anything.

Re: rings

I dont like to wear rings, so I hope he doesnt even get me one. But whatever he gets is fine with me, as long as there is no gold in it.
