I went wedding ring shopping today and I couldnt find anything at all that I liked! What are your favorite cuts, styles?

your taste is very different from mine, I like vintage bands but not too thick or heavily encrusted with diamonds. I think that takes away from the center stone and makes it look like a big chunk of white stuff on your hand lol. I prefer solitaire mounts with detailed work but very thin so as to showcase the diamond instead of swallowing it. Verragio and Tacori are my favorite ring designers. :)

Actually I was thinking of a solitaire but It needs to LOOK like a wedding ring. I guess im more interested in bands and such. Ill post what Ill probably get made below

but I want to find something unique and different!

My favorite cuts are round brilliant and ascher cuts but these days I am kinda liking princess too.

I like solitaires though with micro pave bands on both sides…:hinna:

You know girls, Im beginning to hate diamonds as I see them in pakistan. The rings are either too slim and give a really bright white effect. Or they look so tiny and minute that you cant really pass them off as wedding rings. Can someone post images as well please? I dont want to take away from the beauty of the solitaire either, but I need to be directed towards pictures which I can take to the jewellers and have them copy the design because honestly, there are no design options here in Pakistan.

My nikah ring I went with a simply triple row of diamonds, kind of a band. Its pretty, practical and it SUITS my hand most importantly. But for the rukhsati/first anniversary ring, I really want something that looks the part, like a wedding ring. And I want some gold in it as well, not just a white white effect. HELP
