Simple situation:

Arranged marriage is proposed. The girl is:

1. Your kinda attractive/cute.
2. Educated
3. Would make an excellent mother
4. Your mom and family adore her.
5. There is chemistry between the two of you.
6. You two have a similar view on life.

For all essential purposes she is your ideal mate.

However she states if you two do get married she will not sleep with you for the first three years so you two can get to know each other.

You don’t know if this is a ploy or the truth. But the family has given you a day to decide. How do you factor in the lack of sex for three years vs the rest of the non-sexual elements of the woman.

Firstly, I don’t know any man who would agree to this (LOL…unless the “wife” allows him to sleep with another woman while she’s “getting to know” her husband for 3 da*n years!). Yes I’m a woman but I do know plenty of guys (and I deal with A LOT men and their marriages at work).

That being said…the 3 parts I highlighted kind of contradict one other…don’t they?

After all…if the woman tells you the she doesn’t believe in having sex for 3 years AFTER marriage b/c she wants to get to “know” you…and you don’t know if she’s being honest or lying…and you don’t already agree with her “view”…

In that case…do you really know the woman well enough to know that she’ll make a good mother and that you two have similar views in life? If you feel that you can’t trust her when it comes to this sex issue…then how do you know her well enough to trust her with your future children?
