Actually there were …you were probably just not paying attention to what happened in India. If your read Times of India you’d know there were countless complains about it. There difference is that they have established credible democratic system that is capable to sustaining hits and surviving and we haven’t.

There were many complaints in India, true. But life went on not because ‘they are able to sustain hits’. It went on because with e-voting, accountability is a snap, and it doesnt take more than a few hours to audit a constituency, which, with all of India’s administrative faults, they have done.
In Pakistan, the biggest problem is a lack of accountability, and a lack of political will to conduct it. Reason being family mafias of the 2 status quo parties.

Sounds like you are implying that in Pakistan, democracy is taking a hit. I thought protests were a basic right of citizens?
