I was looking at the Brides 2011 thread and came acros this picture. What caught my eye was the picture of the rickshaw…lol
Can someone please explain what’s going on in the pic? Am I right in saying are they brinign the grrom in to the hall on the mehndi in a rickshaw? Wouldn’t that be too noiey? Or maybe the engine is off 
Looks interesting anyway I like this idea…hehehe

^ no that is not true(I live in india at the moment), rickshaw is a rikshaw, the one in the pic is called cycle rickshaw, and is only used in some states...

where do u live? in UP, its called just rickshaw...the motorised one is called AUTO rickshaw.

I was wondering the same thing! The wedding was held in KHI so I'm thinking the hall had an arrangement (it was held at the Karachi Golf Club) but they are pretty easy to find, I would LOVE to have one at my Lahori wedding!

I was thinking of this too for my BILs wedding, we did kind of tell him of this this morning, he laughed at the suggestion. Not sure how it should be done exactly...:/
We could have him sit on it and the boys in the family push him along for a short way and then escort him off and walk in with him perhaps?
