"The Jane-Finch community has one of the largest concentrations of criminal gangs of any area in Canada. It also has "one of the highest proportions of youth, sole-supported families, refugees and immigrants, low-income earners and public housing tenants of any community in Toronto” (p.5, A Report of the Jane-Finch Street Involved Youth Issues Coalition, December 2002)."
Had to be a good joke, otherwise SU wouldn't laugh so hard!
Re: Rich people's playgrounds.
South beach, Miami. I stayed at the shore club, amazing hotel and amazing area. And it was great leaving the NY snow for some Miami sun. ;)
South of France, Monaco.
Re: Rich people's playgrounds.
Milan, Paris, Dubai, Manhattan, South Beach- all big time.
Name some cities and/or countries which are rich people's playgrounds, as in places which attract the richest tourists who go there to spend big dollars in style. And when I mean style, I just don't mean staying at a Holiday Inn, but showing up in your private plane/yacht, and bringing your Lamborghini along. Is "people's" used correctly?
I will start - Dubai - Monaco - Las Vegas (maybe). - Macau (but isn't this place poor as a slum in Karachi?) - Paris in summer (heard plenty of exotics with Gulf plates to be seen there during that time).
Love Love Love paris in the summer.
I am surprised to see the the gulf plates. Do they drive to paris? or have their car flown/shipped in?

So, lots of late model Cadillacs and Impalas with big wheels?
Re: Rich people's playgrounds.
To name a few;
Sardinia,
Cannes,
Aman land,
Courchevel,
Hvar,
The Hamptons,
Monaco,
Oman
i've been to the above... and have stayed at the 'over the top rich areas'.... whilst beautiful, they lack a certain 'realness'....
