Rich dad or poor dad

Has anyone read this book? Rich dad or poor dad any reviews?

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

I very much enjoyed the book. Good thing is that (at least for dumb people like myself) the book reads like a story/autobiography (which it is - sort of) - but at the same time, gives you the understanding of how one should plan his financial future.

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

i read ONLY textbooks cases of famous individuals :cb:

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

I browsed through his book abt 6 years ago - at the time, real estate was hot. And this guy was pumping it. I walked away with the impression he is a front runner - promote the asset class that is up 9as opposed to identify the asset class that may be most undervalued).

Another negative was my elder brother liked this book at that time.

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

this guy has made only one guy rich. and it was from book-sales.

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

Queer you are so funny :omg:

But so far I am enjoying this book.

Off topic but I still think if you have cash you can invest in real estate market. Just have to see the right location.

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

I recall you being the real estate expert - so not much to add. Of course, real estate is more attractive now than it was in 2007 October. It has dropped a lot.

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

Yes I remember you were thinking of buying some property, so did you?

Re: Rich dad or poor dad

^ No, I was not thinking f buying property. Someone started a thread asking if it was a good time to buy. You meantioned, if they are buying, to put no money down, and you explained why it made sense to do so.
