i had lunch in college canteen now
And i had Ribena Drink.One Muslim girl came 2 me nd said
u r not allowed 2 drink Ribena,its no more halal and it contains traces of Alcohol.
I didnt know this at all cz i didnt recv any email or sms yet
do u knw about it?

yeh apparently ribena is it has something like 0.055% alchohol in it n then in a can it contains like 20ml.....

Oh my word, I hope you’re joking about the sms and email thing. Most of the stuff people sms and email you are LIES! They are not proven and are just distributed to stir up controversy and circulate fear propaganda. Please double check any of the rumors you hear before believing them.

Lucozade's the same as Gatorade, except its got some caffeine in it and is found outside of the US. There is no alcohol in either.

They are saying the same about rubicon:bummer: The traces of ethyl ethanol found in certain soft drinks are used as softeners. Some say it is halal and some say it is haram but no way does 0.05% constitute to being 20ml of alcohol per can, as some people have/are suggesting. If it was such an amount, it would have to be declared on the packaging, in accordance with legal requirements.
Often such issues are modern day urban myths. For example people used to say do not drink Coca Cola as it has pig’s blood in it.
The only company which have declared the minute traces of alcohol in their products.
