Many of you may be excellent Quran reciters with a beautiful flow from verse to verse. Is it something that comes naturally, or can it be learned? What’s the best practice for beautifying the recitation and developing an accurate rhythm that is worthy of what is being recited?
Please state techniques, or routine that you feel should be followed to beautify recitation. JazakAllah khair.
Alhamdulillah, I am good at reciting Quran the way you mentioned. Its just, keep practicing. Practice will make you get a flow in reciting Quran in rythem. The only thing that can help you (IMO) is, listening to it. Via Youtube, CDs, Radio, wherever you find.... just keep listening...... and you will be able to deliver it too.
Although the Quranic Verses are always pleasing to hear, but I find the most beautiful and soul touching reciting the Khana-e-Kaaba ones....... its sooo breath taking and makes me cry........ cry not with disappointment, cry means, it makes me feel close to my Almighty... :)
Good thread teggy. I am also trying to make my recitation better as this is requirement and haq of quran. Hadees of hadrat kaab where prophet told him that ALLAh has praised him is evidence for that.
best as queen 24 said is to hear recitations of other qaris and try to recite like them. Not to copy one as then you will end up trying to mimick certain qari and the actual focus on quran may get lost, try listening to more then one qari and inshalalh it will improve your tilawat.
Yesterday maghrib adhan in abu dhabi was given by some moazzin who tried to mix pani patti and masri accents of adhan, and mashallah it was very beautiful.
