Revolutionary expediency

Re: Revolutionary expediency

You are denser than I thought. That perhaps explains why you believe in blind following the blind.

Nawaz Sharif has committed himself to Bhasha and Dasu dams, plus Bunji perhaps later. These projects will equal all the electricity produced by coal. So Nawaz Sharif has not “favoured” coal.

Coal will be cheaper than thermal, and Pakistan does not have any coal power plants when it makes up a sizeable share in many other countries like China, UK, US, India. So we have to make a start rather than importing expensive furness oil. The demand for electricity will grow exponentially in the future, so all options need to be considered.
