Is there any restriction on revival of old threads? Revival of such two threads have been locked because according to a moderator they were very old. Yes they were old but they were relevant at that time and they are very much relevant at this time. Present events are the changing events of past. You can not isolate past from present and resulting future events.
My request to Gupshup administration, please do not lock the past threads, let them continued, that is the one way of learning from past mistakes and give new insights for the future. Let participants most probably with new nicks :)would like to contribute in these threads make these more meaningful.
I remember reading some rule about reviving old threads. You are allowed to revive them if they are relevant and further discussion on the topic can take place. I think that was what the rule said and i see old threads revived in quite a few places everyday.
If the topic has something relevant than yes the thread can be revived. In this case plenty of threads are open on the same subject so reviving old threads do not serve any purpose.
