Review of "weddingcardzone.com"

Hi guys,

I recently ordered a set of 300 cards from weddingcardzone.com. We weren’t going for anything to grand on our wedding cards, just a simple gesture that was also going to be cost effective. So I really had no major expectations for them as long as they had all the correct information I required on them and were obviously presentable of course.

Price wise, it was great because I ordered 300 invites, 150 mehndi invites, and 300 RSVP cards and it all costs me under $300 CDN for the entire order including shipping. However, don’t expect any kind of good communication from them. From their emails, they don’t seem to speak proper english. They would never address any of my questions regarding fonts, and colour of the text, and they had also told me that they would provide me with picture samples of one printed invite and they never did that. When I asked them about it, all they responded with was “That is not possible.” …they were very informative up until I sent them money and then their communication completely died off. They would not get back to me for 2 or three 3 days and would refuse to any answer any questions and their emails even became border line rude. Because I was freaking out about sending them $300 I stayed quiet and waited for them to ship my cards. After the numerous emails I honestly just wanted my damn cards.

I finally got them and the printing job wasn’t that great, they are in a plain arial font when I thought they would be written in something a little fancier, and they were printed in a green font which I also do not prefer. After all of that I’m just happy they didn’t run off with my money. Also they did NOT send me envelopes and because these are slightly bigger than a commercial size envelope…now I have to consider having them custom made which is almost looking close to impossible and not to mention expensive. When I asked them about sending me envelopes that fit the card they responded with

“Hello, Told envelopes quantity then will give you price quote including shipping cost.”

Again very vague and no explanation of WHY they are charging me for envelopes that should of came with the card even though I asked them in my email??? Now I have all these invites sitting here ready to be mailed out except the problem is we’re missing the envelope and I can not find anything to fit, most are to large.

My advice is, if you are very specific about how you would like your invites and would like to see the order and verify proofs and the printing job, to not order them from these guys. If you do, you can expect nothing special from them, they will not provide you with a good experience of shopping with them, they will not answer any of your questions or concerns, they also lied to me about showing me picture proofs which they never did. They do not respond to emails quickly especially after they have your money. At this point I’m just happy I got the invites, and they didn’t just do away with my money. The invites themselves are presentable and good enough, all the info is correct but I would of liked to have included preference of another font or colour which was not asked of me.

Just wanted to let you ladies in on my experience and it wasn’t a good one and I wasn’t even to picky about what I needed. Now I just have to find envelopes that fit.

Here are the invites:

poof

Hi Sana I feel so bad for you hun. Its always cost effective but dangerous with going online for things.

If cost is something your trying to stay in control of why dont you think about getting your cards made in Pakistan or even make your own and have them printed?

I was looking into using www.regalcards.com. Did you come across them in your search?

Re: Review of "weddingcardzone.com"

That sucks! That is why I am wary of ordering ANYTHING online! I just don't trust them.

Are you in Canada? I ordered my invites from Aktiv Art and got a great deal.

Re: Review of "weddingcardzone.com"

I am in Canada. I'll look into Aktiv Art for our Walima cards!

and I did come across regal cards but they are located in India. These guys are actually from Pakistan but since I could not go there myself, I decided to order them online from Pakistan. The service inquiry I got from from regal cards was great but it was coming up to be more expensive and in the beginning because wedding card zone had gotten back to me on quotes and were still less than what was regal was charging, I thought why not just got with these guys. Before I sent them any money, they were responsive. I emailed today them about sending me mailing envelopes and they didn't know what I meant. They thought I was referring to the invitation card folder itself that the invite is put into and they told me they don't have white envelopes. So my only option is to find something thats a decent fit or to basically make them myself which is sooo gay but I may not have a choice. :( Standard envelopes don't seem to come in the size a need which is very slightly bigger than a commercial size envelope.

Hi Sana, well I do hope you find the right cards and thank you for posting on here. If I come across any sites for shops in your part of the world I will definitely give you a shout as I'm currently looking for my invites also. I am sure your post has made many brides more cautious before purchasing online x

Re: Review of "weddingcardzone.com"

really sorry to hear this Sana..

Babe I have just looked at a close up of the invites. Dont fret, they look absolutely fine! I think the biggest disaster has been over their customer service! x

Re: Review of "weddingcardzone.com"

Maybe you should blur out the phone numbers on your RSVP?

But I think the cards look fine and like the green and white colour scheme.

Re: Review of “weddingcardzone.com

oh Sad but all fingers are not equal some companies in Pakistan are good your bad luck you trust on pindi people when we tour to Muree we found how they behave us I personally experience with a company in Lahore that called Zem Printers they complete all there jobs very well

Re: Review of “weddingcardzone.com

I went through something like this recently and this is after my parents went to pakistan and got them made themselves. My extended family is utterly useless so my parents were on their own to try to find a card printing place…they found one. But after so many emails where I edited the cards, talked to the guy on the phone myself to explain how I wanted my rsvp cards done, etc…the cards were a mess. The addresses were printed on the wrong part of the envelope and I was told by the post office that I had to buy new envelopes because there’s no way they would be mailable. There were gross mispellings and grammar errors and the envelopes were literally falling apart due to a shoddy glueing job. My fiance got their walima cards from the US and it was 2x as expensive but…worry free. Everything turned out perfectly for theirs.

What I ended up doing is going on vistaprint.com and ordered a bunch of labels/envelopes/stickers to hide the cheapness and it worked out well! They have pretty good coupons floating around too and they’re pretty good about customizing and showing you proofs
