I got married a few months ago (in London) and just wanted to write about my experience with Nazmeen A. I’ve been browsing this forum for the past 3 years and came across Nazmeen quite a while ago. I booked her for one of my functions and she was absolutely wonderful. I had lots of questions to ask her and she answered each and everyone via Whatsapp before I booked her. She was very open to discussions about the look I wanted and offered a trial although I ended up booking her without a trial as I was fully confident in her ability and was pleased at the quality of work she has previous done. The makeup and hair she did was flawless and I was very very pleased with the end result. She is a true perfectionist and stayed until the very end to make sure I looked perfect. She arrived on time (I was running late!) and was extremely polite and easy to converse with. I was feeling quite nervous but she was quite chatty with me which put my mind at ease. Not only is she an excellent hair and makeup artist but she is also a lovely lovely girl. She also did the hair and makeup of family members who were equally pleased with the end result. She also went out of her way to help other family members with dupatta pinning etc and did a bit of makeup for my nani which we didn’t book! She is also a senior hair and makeup artist with Lubna Rafiq. I would highly recommend Nazmeen and I am planning to book her in the future for my registry and also for party hair and makeup for upcoming family functions.

On another note, I booked Jawaad Ashraf for two of my functions and he was also excellent. He did exactly the looks I wanted on both days and was very clean and precise with his finish. He wasn’t pleased with the foundation he did on my baraat day so he re- did the entire thing even though it meant he was running late. He was also extremely accommodating with the videographer who was taking shots whilst he was getting me ready. I have to say getting ready was one of my favourite parts of both the functions I booked him for as he was very talkative and calmed my nerves.
