Over all, its a good tablet, but my thing is that all above cons have nothing to do with the price. Its just odd design/layout, so for those features, we cannot throw the argument that hey, its only a $200 tablet, dont expect features of a $500 tablet from it.
There's alwasy going to be certain nuances that you'd have to get used to when you move to a different platform. if you go to a Mac from Win7 you lose the Start button (or the circle). That doesn't make it a bad system, just something to get used to.
Speaker being bad I don't have any answer for, but the other points you made are platform specific items.
Oh jee, you’ll get used to it. The reason why the icons aren’t where u expect them to be is because you’re used to iPads. The on/off is on the right. That’s where my finger goes. Oh wait, that’s because I’m used to my S3 now. Also, you can create folders to clean the clutter. I’ll do that for you tonite .
I watched a movie on the N7 on our flight. I had no issues with the sound. I used my headphones (the ones that come with the S3). Try mine.
You remember G1, the first Android phone. It had a pretty clean interface. Now android is all cluttered.
That's cuz I didn't have so many apps way back then.
You have to "understand" Android. It's a relationship you develop, a 2 way relationship. It's not an ordinary device. It's your friend. Once your attitude is right, everything falls into place. Let go of the OS familiarity. Once you start with a clean slate, soon you'll realize how many possibilities there are on your Android.
Life is all about change and moving on to better things. Focus on the prize (better and more efficient technology in this case), not price (which in this case is your heavy heart) !
Please tell me you two are not under the same roof as this convo is taking place, lol!
I'm going to look into this for Ammar, price point is right on!
No, he's at work and I'm at home. However, we do have these kind of conversations even when we're sitting on the same couch. Why u ask? I can always get my point across better in writing. Less arguments and facial expressions to deal with :D.

Sorry I have been busy so couldnt reply earlier..
Yea you confused me even more but I duno im kinda inclined towards ipad..n7 is great esp the price is cool..but I want a backside camera with my tab..weird I know but thats the best excuse I could find to get an ipad:halo:
But isnt it difficult to use the camera with such a big tab?
Now the next masla whether to get ipad2 or the new ipad..
I read bad reviews about the new ipad..cause it heats up alot..aaah:smack:

Khatti I think its a really great tablet especially for kids. They can read, has tons of learning apps, can even watch a movie/show. With the price one can rest a little easy about handing it to younger kids.
^ that’s exactly what I was thinking CDG! I was hesitant to bring an iPad into the picture, because the twins are still a little young for me to spend hat mix on them right now, but I tho k this would be a great alternative for all 3.
Btw, this is fast becoming my favorite forum on GS
You know how I came to the conclusion of buying an ipad instead of n7..I remembered my mom’s solution for choosing the right option..when i was going through the rishta process..I had two options..one was hubz ofcourse:@: mom said think about the one you cannot go without..I understood I would regret not choosing hubz..so I decided to go with it..
So I can forget the thought of buying n7 but I would regret not buying an ipad..I know im not making any sense:hehe:
