Re: Revenge
People wronged me in the past and I left it to Allah (SWT) to sort things out and they ended up regretting what they did. I never hold any ill will towards anyone, I just move on with life.

Re: Revenge
Im not being rude, but when you leave it to Allah it tends to happen 5-10 years later down your life, when you've moved on and dont give a sh*t and basically dont even care if that person has had sh*t in their life or not. So isnt it better to do sumthing yourself?

No. Besides, with me it's happened only a few months later.
I'd rather not do anything, than to do something and regret it for the rest of my life.

so you know better than Allah?
Re: Revenge
Bcoz i soooo said that didnt i Muzna!
Sweet when left upto God... smirks
Yup... karma is a b*itch..... I have seen things work out for themselves all the time ... always leave it upto God. And since I am the type of person that never forgets... it is always sweet when I hear how "things worked out"... no matter how many years down the road it was.

I don't know if you said it or not.....hence the question for clarification.
The way I look at it, if Allah thinks the right time for it to happen is 5 or 10 years down the line then what makes you think that it would be better to have it happen now?

If it's about something that you may even care about after a short while, then I don't think it's worth trying to get revenge over.
Re: Revenge
karma is a b*tch ... i say let things go ...t hey take their due course
serious or not....revenge should never be sweet.......for a person that generally has a good heart revenge should always taste bitter.
if you can forgive someone you are great..... if you cannot find it in yourself to forgive at this time, try to forget and pray that you may find the strength to one day forgive.
holding bad feelings in your heart hurts you more than anyone else.
couldn't agree more!!
to be honest with you, ive come across jealous, bitter, revengeful people all my life and theres one thing i've noticed in all of them..there's no noor on their face. their ugliness shows on the outside and they have some serious "phitkaar" on their faces lol
I absolutely agree. :k:
I’ve learnt all the thoughts and the feelings of hatred you have inside of you because you continuously replay what has happened with that person makes you as a person more bitter, not anyone else.
Re: Revenge
MB, is this revenge thing related to your other post?
Revenge can be sweet in that term (if he cheated on you)
But what will you do?
If you go be with another guy to make him jealous, that's not bad enough and you'll just be ruining your reputation.
So what exactly could you do, that would really hurt him?
Sometime you should just leave thing to Allah Swt, who knows maybe he'll get with his wife, and she'll cheat on his A$$, that would be funny and well deserved :) wouldn't you be laughing at his face then? and Honestly Karma is a BAD BAD thing. lol Goodluck!
In fact I'm too lazy to take revenge or maybe I think if someone hurts you or annoys you then it's better to place him/her aside from your list of important people/matters and you know only thoes people deserve your attention who are highly important or worthy for you and taking revenge means you have enough time to waste on such people ^o)
Re: Revenge
The most graceful kind of revenge is the one you get without trying or thinking about it. Unless you gloat over it in the end. Then you end up looking stupid, grudgeful, and a jeolous freak.
