revenge serves no purpose and only leaves you feeling unsatisfied and empty afterwards an on top of it you've just darkened ur soul...IMO revenge is not at all sweet

I have told you what Quran said now and Quran is from GOD let me show you why for example if a person is murdered and that murderer is not killed for that murder their are great chances that family of the victim turns towards violence so to avoid that violence state should take revenge on behalf of the victim but this should be done by state not by people on their own

Sir Islam fair doesn't mean you make life easy for criminal sir in Islam for murder punishment is murder which state should carry out and that is revenge taken by government on behalf of the victims family
