Revenge isn’t just sweet - it’s great, says the scorned wife who has issued a very public condemnation of her cheating husband. When Jane Doe, as she calls herself, found out her other half was having an affair with her best friend she sent them both a message. On a giant billboard.
Jane took out a poster advert on Upper Dean Street, in the heart of Birmingham city centre. It reads:
"To ‘my dear’ husband Mark and my ‘best friend’ Shelley,
**"You are the most despicable, deceitful people I have ever met. I know what you did and I’m disgusted. **
“I’ve changed the locks Mark, burnt your clothes and emptied OUR joint account - to pay for this poster. You deserve each other.”
Jane says on her blog she became suspicious when her husband started wearing aftershave and sporting new clothes.
After checking his mobile phone, she was horrified to discover not only was he cheating but with her best friend ‘Michelle’.
She sought advice from Big Brum Breakfast Radio presenter Caroline Martin and the show’s listeners became gripped as they heard the saga unfold through her regular emails.
