Ok i had some idea it wasn’t very smart to keep reusing frying oil…but I didnt know it was that bad. Now either this means that I will have to throw otu all that oil every single time I use it (more $$ wasted) OR just not fry as much (waistline saved!!!)
reusing it for 2/3 times is fine but keeping it for weeks or reusing it till its all evaporated is not good for health … well as if oil is good for health anyway way
I re-use for deep frying. Like during ramzan there is a karahi of oil always available for the pakoray and samosay.
But when I do this is make sure that the heat is carefully regulated (i.e. never too high) and the items fried are always of the same basic flavor. (i.e. I don't re-use oil that I use to fry fish for anything other than frying fish.)
