i bought MAC’s studio fix fluid foundation and i *think that when i bought it, it didn’t came in the box.
i want to return that foundation because the color doesn’t match my skin but the lady at the MAC counter wouldn’t return it because she said that it have to be in the original packing.
i just want to ask you guys who have bought the studio fix fluid foundation that did yours came in that black box? i know that their minerlize one comes in the box but i am not sure about the i have.
please let me know.

take it to the store. many times they will take it back. it just depends on the store.

they should return it whether or not you have the box, i've done it many times. as long as you have the receipt, you're good. try a different sales associate. if you don't have the receipt, you should be able to exchange it atleast

It really depends on who served you, and which store it is.
If the product has not been used, and you have a receipt, then they should refund you.
If the product has not been used, and you do not have a receipt, they should exchange it for you.
The fact that it didn't come in a black box is strange and will work against you, as they always take a new one out of their drawers, which are packaged. Did you buy it in store, or online?
Regardless of this, the products that are returned are not re-sold anyway, so if you don't have the packaging, then it "shouldn't" really matter, as they'll end up putting it out as a tester, but again, it really depends on the store's policy....
