Call ur folks in Karachi and ask how much 3 kg of edible oil costed in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007 for an example.. i bought it in Lahore for Rs 290 couple of months back and now its Rs 390!
As far as indicators are concerned i work in a project sapnning in 20 towns in Punjab.. they way they are faked up everyone knows..
you must also look at the demand and supply factor before looking at prices,
you cant compare 1999 with 2007, when in 2007 10 times more oil sells then in 1999.
