Come on Zero_one **- Really you shouldn't be bothered with this as an Ahmadi your stance is that Jesus/Messiah/Mahdi (in one package) has come and GONE - (Having left the world in worse place than that he found - utter failure -obviously the bracketed bit is not part of your belief).

Brother aqeel123 You should know better Hz. Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus) (AS) and Imam Mahdi (ra) are two different persons.

Hz. Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus) (AS) was a Prophet of Allah (swt) and will return to the Earth when Allah (swt) wishes so.

Imam Mahdi (ra)** who is yet to be born **when Allah (swt) so wishes, will be righteously guided leader of the Muslim Ummah.

I don't think any Islamic scripture mentions Imam Mahdi being born; rather they use words such as emerge. So, technically, you cannot say whether he is alive today or not. Similarly, the scriptures do not mention the birth of Dajjal, but only the release (although there are accounts of him being alive during the time of Mohammad).

The only thing (apocalyptic) that we know today for certain is that Gog & Magog have been released and are among us.

I doubt anyone of you saw the video. It was a long one hour+ video. Unfortunately, I watched it. First 45 minutes, no mention of either ascension or 2nd coming of esa ibn maryam(as). So the title of the video was really misleading. Last few minutes, he talked about 2nd coming.

I dont see any reason of second coming of the same Jesus (AS) which was sent to bani israel.
Islam cant be spread by someone who will come again as a non-prophet ( as some say). Neither can it be spread in the whole world in His one lifetime. No one has been given the power by God to force people to accept Islam. Also, even if for a second i believe He'll come and make everyone muslim, then what ever happened to the idea of Allah testing people ?

Some points that come to my mind are:

1) Esa (as) died like the rest of the prophets. Quran provides clear proofs on that refuting those who claim that Quran is not clear on this issue.

2) Quran says that the differences between the Christians and the Jews will remain till the day of judgment clearly telling us that both of these religious groups will remain till the end of times. It contradicts the common opinion that all the people of the book will become believers on the 2nd coming of Esa(as).

3) Muslims have been compared to jews in latter days in hadiths. so if the savior of muslims has been named Masih esa ibn mariam (as). it should not be a surprise.

4) The hadiths on the issue of dajjal and 2nd coming of esa (as) are so full of metaphors. You cannot shy away from this fact. for instance:
a) Dajjal is one-eyed but Allah is not one-eyed (how would you take this literally. I would love to know)
